DIGITAL: "Own" Your Home -- Learn the In's & Out's of Home Repair

I don’t ever like feeling as though I’m a “damsel in distress” — it’s why my dad popped open the hood of my car before I left for college to show me how to check my oil. But, I have to say, when it comes to house repairs, I feel so intimidated by my lack of knowledge. So much so, that when we had a leak in our attic, I texted the one and only Residential Concierge, Rachel Eisaman, for a quick tutorial so I’d know the right questions to ask the service provider. It’s amazing how being armed with just a bit of knowledge can transform homeownership from being overwhelming to being joyful.

In addition to networking, in this Workshop, we’ll learn….

+ Helpful How-Tos

+ Basic Terminology

+ Maintenance Plans

+ Questions to ask your service providers

All times are EST.

Cancellation Policy: Since we purposely limit the number of attendees to ensure that meaningful networking and instruction can occur, we do not accept cancellations for these events. You may transfer your ticket with approval only by Ladies Who Learn.

Digital: Design Your Home Based on Your Ayurvedic Mind-Body Type

Sure, we’ve all coveted a particular chandelier or obsessed over that gorgeous area rug, but understanding why we’re drawn to certain pieces and looks runs much deeper than just aesthetics. Jillian Rooker with Sacred Space Design Studio will lead us through an interactive workshop beginning with an analysis* of our individual Ayurvedic Mind-Body Type (aka our “Dosha”) to reveal how we can use this ancient practice to make our homes feel more homier — something we likely all need since we’ve been spending so much damn time in them.

*you will be emailed a short, but thorough assessment to take prior to the workshop

What’s included:

+ some good ol’ networking (and, yes, with some creativity, it’s still possible to network and get to know each other virtually)

+ live interactive instruction on Ayurveda practices to start creating a Sacred Space within our homes

All times are EST.
